Could Chemicals Fires Cause A Condition Like I Am Describing Below?

A MyAmyloidosisTeam Member asked a question 💭
Riverhead, NY

I have localized amyloidosis populated on my left eyelid discovered when I underwent a browlift in 2023. I'm thinking that this rare condition was caused by the firepits I and other veterans were exposed to, during deployments to the Middle east. I remember my eyes constantly weeping, stinging and burning. It affected my throat in the same way.
