I've Asked My Hematologist What Stage Of AL Amyloidosis I Have, But I Think She Forgets, Does Anyone Know How I Can Figure It Out?
Should be. If you read about Mayo staging that will tell you what stage you’re in.
These markers can get better also. I’m in stage 2 but my bio markers (BNP & troponin) have gotten better or are normal now. I usually check them in February. If the BNP has become normal then I’ll be in stage 1!
Nope, I've been trying to go through my doc's notes, but so far, I can't find anything related to it. I'll just ask when I go for my follow up on Wednesday 😊
Do you know what your numbers are for those 2 biomarkers?
So you check the BNP and Troponin markers? And that should be my stage?
