Diflunisal can be used as an off-label treatment for ATTR-CM, which is caused by a buildup of misfolded transthyretin (TTR) protein in the heart. PFIZER mimicked andbused as a badis for their drug R & R, Diflusinal in their development of Tafadamis/Vyndamax.
