Has Anyone Had Palliative Care For Your Amyloidosis? If So, Was It Helpful?
I Have a Palliative Care RN come to my home. She has been very informative and helping me deal with all facets of my amyloidosis. Stanford, there is no charge for Palliative Care.
World Health Organization recognizes amyloidosis as qualifying for PALLIATIVE CARE. Check with Social Services Health Care Agency, Medicare, etc., the County you live in.
Tried it where We are at here in Albany, Or. He qualified Only because of heart involvement. Alas, they don't really see that you are comfortable because the palliative care here will not rx pain meds, only if u are in Hospice, then they will.
Since no one can say how long, what stage, or expected longevity, hospice not an option( I've found my own palliative care. ) I hate to say this , but the med community here is pretty much more concerned with their politics and covering their own a**es.
Sounds expensive but nice
