How Do We Know Whether Our Medication Is Helping Us?
My Dr have been very good about helping me understand my lab results from the beginning. I compare every two months when I have them done. I’ve been in complete remission for two yrs now. My cardiac numbers keep getting better so that tells me my heart is healing since going into remission.
My heart guy said the Vyndamax does not begin affecting mortality rates until 18 months after you start it. I had a six-month check recently, sounded like no further damage was detected in my heart muscle after six months on the medicine. Sounds kinda nebulous to me. Not sure how much damage was done before my diagnosis, or if they can even guess how long you've had it before diagnosos. I'm still walking an hour a day, only noticing shortness of breath is prevalent, possibly a little worse than before. Good luck
Good morning,
I would say, mostly from your lab results.
Hi Jennifer2
I get my treatment through BJC as well! Who is your Amyloidosis doctor? Mine is J. Mitchell. Currently, I'm on Amvuttra (injection once every 3 month). I was on OnPattro (Patisiran) for a year and a half before getting approved for Amvuttra. It's good to meet you.
I Think We All Want To Know About Time. And The Progression That We're Going To Go Through.
So How Do You Fight The Loneliness That Comes With Amyloidosis?
I've Been Subscribed Jardiance Along With My Vyndaquel. Is Anyone Else Using This Drug, And Have You Seen Results?
