Has anyone tried a stick on Lidocaine pain patch. They don’t work for osteoarthritis but maybe they will for the itching.

Paul, have you addressed this with your specialist? Surely there is something that can assist. I guess topicals don't work as they are embedded. Have you tried something simple like Benadryl? It's for sinus, but have been given shots of Benadryl for allergic reactions.. Also pills for less severe cases. It might just help, it's cheap, maybe worth a try!

Thanks Sheldon, l am aware of ECGC but not allowed to take as a stipulation of the drug trial, know it works as it is prescribed in tandem with tafamidis in the USA plus trials in the EU.

I have same problem. I do not know of any solution. No shampoo or hair product will alleviate the subcutaneous deposits. Only an amyloid disruptor (removes deposits) drug may help. None are available except in a few clinical trials. Green tea extract also known as EGCG, is a possible combination disruptor and TTR stabilizer. It is synergistic with Vyndamax.
