I Was Diagnosed With Wild Type Amyloidosis A Year Ago. Has Anyone One Developed Joint Specific Arthropathy/arthritis?
Jim, I was diagnosed about 3 years ago. I have neuropathy in my feet and hands, on and off. Recently I developed forearm pain, which the orthopedist said was "tennis elbow", and I don't think it's related to the amyloid. Otherwise no joint issues.
Joe, I understand. I've had 1 knee surgery, 3 back surgeries, carpal tunnel, neuropathy and a host of other things like gastroentestinal, oand limpademia problems. I hurt so bad. Like today my legs are so painful as are the joints in them. Yes, arthritis has gotten much since hTTR came into my life.
Every joint in my body is painful. 7 knee surgeries, 2 back surgeries, quadruple neck fusion, carpal tunnel syndrome and the nerve pain from severe diabetic neuropathy.
