I fell and developed fluid in lungs and had to have it surgically removed

I've been having problems with breathing the past few months, I have AL amyloidosis, even taking water pills hasn't helped, and my ankles swell all the time. The last time I had breathing issues they said I had fluid buildup around my lungs, but I have an MRI and ultrasound on my heart next month, because the docs think the amyloid may have gotten into my heart more, and that's why I'm having a hard time breathing

Hi Kim. I’ve got wATTR. My Amyloidosis Team tells me that fluid in my lungs indicates another manifestation of amyloid attack.
Also it indicates a progression of peripheral edema and cardiac myopathy. Bad news is these might be an indication of amyloid attack on brain. I’ve been experiencing issues where brain and mouth appear uncoordinated.
