Does Anyone Experience A Lot Of Swelling After Exercise??
Been exercising for a couple of days and seems like I have excess fluid in legs now.
I bet they will. My insurances are Medicare and CHAMPVA which is Tricare. Tricare picked up everything Medicare didn't cover.
Andre, seating exercise does not enhance blood flow to your extremities. Insufficient ventricular pumping can cause a backup of fluids. There may be other causation. Go see your doctor!!
Andre, the pump is made by Tactile Medical. (YouTube has loads of video how-to's.) And I love the pump. Not only does it give a great 60 minute leg massage it really makes the swelling go down fast. There is an actual pump to which the two plastic "legs" connect. You pull up the plastic legs over your legs just as if you were pulling on stockings. When you activate the pump it fills the legs with air until it is tight around your legs. Then it starts a massage from your feet up to your groin and when it goes back down, it starts the massage process over again. My occupational therapist ordered it and the wraps. While my insurance covered both my therapist said that Medicare is paying for a lot of this kind of equipment now.
Rarely eat out, keep track of sodium levels by trying to stay under 2300 mg per day and been doing good. Most of the seated exercises do require a lot of movement like the stand and lift and the seated marches. Also using a seated elliptical. Already spoke with doctors and waiting for new compression socks. Wish me luck.
Andre, what is your daily diet like? Too.much sodium from can be from nearly all processed foods, all deli meats, some cheeses, and all restaurant food contributes to fluid retention and weight gain, bloating, etc.
