I Am Now Sleeping 8-9 Hrs Per Day!! All My Life I Had Only Slept 5-6 Hours Per Day. Anyone Else Facing This Problem?

It could mean your body needs more rest from fighting Amy (amyloidosis). Amy can be mean some days and less others. And/or it could mean that you are getting older and your body requires more rest. I can never get enough sleep. I could sleep straight through an entire week and it still wouldn't be enough.

I feel the same way Jim. I only do about half of what I used to accomplish each day because of fatigue. I sleep about 7 to 8 hrs each night and probably nap another half hour during the day. Iโ€™m only finishing my second year with my diagnosis . I can only pray that I will still be here in 5 years. Your doing great keep it up.

I feel like I can sleep 9-11 hours a night. I feel tired all the time.
