Did Anyone Else Lose Their Sense Of Taste After Diagnosis Of Amyloidosis?

A MyAmyloidosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I’m feeling well just think I have lost my sense of taste. It may have been before I actually was diagnosed and before I started Vyndamax.

Fortunately I haven’t lost my sense of taste or smell. I’ve been on chemo since 2022.

I sometimes feel like my sense of taste has changed. Most foods have a salty taste to me. Even those I know we have not added salt to.

I definitely lost my sense of taste well into my Chemo treatments. Once past Chemo my sense of taste gradually came back, although still a year later, not totally. Prior to Amy I used to nibble on chocolate peanut clusters but now and then I will try one and they just do not taste as good as they used. to.
And Mike, on another topic what did you decide regarding an e-trike? I am now riding mine almost every day. vern
