Treatment For AA Amyloidosis In NJ?

In December I had a thyroidectomy and discovered that I have AA Amyloidosis after Overlook Medical Center sent for a biopsy to the Mayo Clinic. I met with my oncologist who referred me to Rutgers Cancer Institute. I spent time with another oncologist who mainly treats multiple myeloma and AL Amyloidosis. She told me that I should see if John Theurer Cancer Center can treat AA Amyloidosis, because Rutgers does not. I go to Philadelpia. Penn University Med. Center. And see Dr. Pieretti she came very highly recommended. There are a few of us who see her from NJ.
