Sounds like you (Jim) are doing all you can do to rebuild muscle. I am doing all I can do, but with my recent back injury and recently discovered osteoporosis on my femur neck, I have to be really careful. I am walking about a (hilly) mile a day and doing floor stretches.
I haven’t lost any more weight, just happy to maintain my present 150 lbs by eating way more than before my diagnosis. I also lost muscle mass, but like Theresa it’s coming back slowly through riding my bike and stretching everyday. Just getting into some light weight exercises.
I have put some weight back on and I feel like my legs are getting stronger from walking. It’s been 2 years for me. It doesn’t come on quick. Patience is what you need.
