Hi I’ve been prescribed Gabapentin. It’s the best for me. I can’t take anti-inflammatory meds like Advil, Ibuprofen etc. Hope you find something that helps.

Hi John! My husband also has wild type. Diagnosed last June as part of a workup for an aortic valve replacement due to aortic stenosis. He has been dealing with increasing nerve pain ans neuropathy in his right leg. Unfortunately, the Neurologist did agree to an EMG and nerve conduction study in Jan but doesn't see him til March 19. Our PCP started him on Gabapentin. It helps some, but many days he's forced to use a forearm cane. The Neurologist in November actually told him since he had just started Vyndamax, it should help the nerve pain because in the UK, they prescribe Vyndamax for neuropathy. Well, if that's the caee, it's been almost 5 months on Vyndamax and the neuropathy and pain is much worse. It's been very frustrating. I don't know if this helps or not!
