First… can he eat? If he can, for me, anything I could eat. The amyloid makes all my food taste like crap but I just power through. I had a nutritionist tell me just put butter, sour cream, peanut butter on your food. Anything fattening. I lost over 50 lbs but I’ve gained 17 back. So I’m still skinny but not underweight. Of course if there is kidney issues you have to be careful with some foods. You should definitely consult a nutritionist.
