Has Anyone Been Contacted By Pfizer That Their Participation In Vyndamax Patient Assistance Program Ended 12/31/2023?
I was told to contact HealthWell Foundation to apply for grant funds to cover cost of Vyndamax on reimbursement basis. I’m on social security so finding a spare $2,600 to start the program—-and assuming full and timely reimbursement by HealthWell—-is a major change and risk.
It is my understanding that the patient assistance is a yearly thing so you have to reapply every year to restart it. As far as the health well grant, you call them and they tell you right on the phone whether you qualify and if there is any grant money available. So you should not have to wait for their answer. If heathwell doesn't have money then you are eligible to try to get help from Pfizer. Hope this helps. Also, when you talk to healthwell they give you some numbers to give the pharmacy so you are not charged your copay. So there is no wait for reimbursement.
All the patient assistants program require yearly updates. Even if you have gold insurance and you doctor gave you a 12 month script it still won’t work. Your doctor must write monthly a NEW RX plus backup with a PRIOR AUTHORIZATION! Its all about the money!!!!!
We have only been covered by the Hopewell grant since July and will have to put in a new request to re-up in June. So I am not liking hearing that they are not answering the phone. Hope you get some help soon!
The first few times I tried to call HealthWell, I was told they were not taking calls. I was able to leave a recall message by calling around 9:30AM. They called me back around noon. Still don't have it working yet, starting again in the AM. It shouldn't be this hard to do. So far, Not a happy camper!
After being on hold for some time I received a message that HealthWell’s hotline was closed. At 1pm EST.
