Has Anyone Else Experienced The Loss Of Walking
My balance has gotten worse even with the use of my walker also my carpal tunnel has gotten worse any suggestions
Yup braces help but don't wear em too long at a time.
Need to gently stretch hands and fingers as well as reaching out with arms. Be sure to flattn out hands often...like pressing together or fairly firmly on tables.
Good luck
God bless.
I slowly started to lose balance 9 years ago. Unsteady gait, then used a walking stick to help. Then drop foot issues. After 4 neurologists, 2 more at Mayo, and 3 chiropractors over the years it was determined that I had a compressed spinal cord. Two years ago had laminectomy on 3 vertebrae to clean out tissue and allow spinal cord space. Balance has been worse, using a walker always. After 6 months of review cardiologists determined that ATTR was present (April 2023). Taking tafamadis but looking at Stem cell work for the neuropathy. The great unknowns continue.
Will see about the balance exercise class, thanks
How about a balance exercise class.
Iām so tired of these doctors. Neurologists, vascular surgeons, cardiologists. Iām just tired of trying.
