Hi Galparrot. I've been watching you since I joined three or so years ago. I'm so sorry to hear of another journey in front of you. You have given us all so much hope over the years and have certainly proven yourself to be a hero in the community of cancer fighters. I'm wishing you all the best and a turn around in your health!

My husband has ATTR-CM and has progressed from Stage 2 to 4 in the past 12 months. Not a pretty picture: Now uses a wheelchair all the time,indoors and out; needs help with all his ADLs; physical assist in/out of bed; facial and swallowing muscles have deteriorated so his speech is barely intelligible, eating is very difficult and swallow study just showed aspiration so there is high risk of pneumonia. Started tafamidis in Feb 2022: no improvement. Started Onpattro in Sept 2022 (has had 3 infusions so far) and side effects have been terrible. Hate to be such a downer, but it is not good.
