My hubby had severe diarrhea during most of his chemo. Then he had severe pan & is on opioids, so constipation is the problem now. Never a dull moment!
I called Amy a crappy disease, so difficult to go anywhere. πŸ™ƒ. Hang in there, try Imodium for relief.
Praying for youπŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»

Low fiber diet, lomotil and Imodium works for me. It was very bad at the beginning of this journey but it has gotten better. Also try drinking whatever liquid you drink 30 minutes before your meal or 60 minutes after.

I have 2 more Darzalex shots left in my 2 year treatment course. One in May and one in June. Yes, The severe diarrhea is a constant battle, as is the occasional bout of vomiting and nausea. I now take an Imodium in the morning, one in the afternoon and one at bedtime. It works great for a few days then kaboom!! Off we go again. Then I try to stabilize it all over again. My oncologist said that the Darzalex takes about 5 months to completely leave my system. Then I should start being more β€œnormal” and feeling better. Fingers crossed 🀞 as that means 7 more months of this. Wish I had better news, and yes, it does control our lives, but at least I am in β€œcomplete remission β€œ and am hoping that will last for a long, long time. I’m winning the battle!
